LSU the past 3-4 years has opened up a football ticket lottery for for faculty/staff for upper deck tickts. Now they are offering single game tickets at a reduced price?

The LSU Athletics Department would like to offer all LSU (Baton Rouge) faculty and staff the opportunity to purchase upper deck seating for three select LSU football games at a discounted rate of $25/ticket (regular price $40). Additionally, there are a limited number (max 8/game) of end zone seats available for both the Idaho and Towson games at $40 each.

The following games are available while supplies last:

September 1 North Texas

September 15 Idaho

September 29 Towson

Geaux Tigers!

They always seemed to have had sells to the shite games like this.
I'm sure part of it is that opposing teams of this caliber can't sell their allotment.

LSU doesn't have trouble selling tickets. LSU has trouble selling shitty tickets to shitty games.

Nosebleed for Towson? No thanks.

Yes,I remember opening it up to the general public a week or two before a subpar opponent. But this is at a discounted rate of $25/ticket so far in advance.

Because nobody wants to buy that crap against such crappy teams. I got the same email. Couldnt give me those tickets, much less make me pay for them.

Schedule better teams, LSU wouldnt have that problem.

I agree. I'm sure campus will look like a funeral procession with the new parking restrictions for these games.

It just aggravates me more because my family shelled out $2,600.00 for 4 tickets in north endzone...

And this is the schedule. With the exception of last year, LSU steals money from its fans with these games.

Well, being that one can get lower bowl sideline seats to those games for $5 or free, without fail, I can see a problem. The only tickets that one has any trouble at all getting for face are the likes of Bama. That will still be done, though, as I've done the last few times. Lower bowl, every time.

I can see N. Texas getting a LITTLE buzz because it will be the first game and the first chance to see Mett at qb, etc.

So, that one has that going for it.

Verge talked about this a lot last year. You can't just get anyone you want on your schedule and you don't want to load up your OOC teams with the likes of USC, OU, OSU, Texas, etc. Not in the SEC and especially not with adding A&M every year. Plus you can get teams like Towson and Idaho for relatively cheap as opposed to a team like WVU or Baylor or any other mid-tier school. Beside, the fans have to have SOMETHING to bitch about right?

I blame Athletics for this. You know, I don't mind you wanting to charge $100/gm for SEC games.

Don't screw me though in the back seat with these other crappy games. You know, I understand LSU is a big school and it might be difficult to schedule decent schools to come here without a home/away but come on...this is pathetic...

Towson, Idaho and North Texas...seriously...that's the best you could do?

And Washington plus you're going to get one of the biggest games in TS history on 11/3. Throw out some teams you'd like to see on this schedule. You know, the one that has us going on the fricking road to UF, Auburn, A&M & Arky.

I spent most of last year at the top of the west upper deck, I did not mind at all. plenty of leg room and a great breeze for all those 2 o'clock games.
