Thanks in advance for any input...

My family will be in NO next weekend for an uptown wedding and we want to do a nice brunch on Sunday for Fathers Day.

I only have brunch experiences at Palace Cafe, Commanders, and Mr. B's Bistro. All were great, but I'd like to try somewhere else. What's a great place for a higher-end brunch?

I very much enjoyed the one I went to at Commanders. Have heard that Arnauds is probably the best.

Brennan's has fallen into disfavor in recent years but I've been hearing some good reports lately. It used the be THE brunch place in New Orleans.

Arnaud's is festive, fun and delicious if you can get a reservation at this late date.

Muriel's is very good if they don't have a different set menu for Father's Day. I love the normal brunch, but I went one Easter Sunday and it wasn't so good. Didn't care for the selections.

Not crazy about Commander's. It was just okay for me, but we went on a Saturday and I was in the mood for nonbrunch food. Wasn't nearly as festive as Arnaud's. Arnaud's has a jazz trio for each room downstairs rather than one that goes all over the restaurant. I love going there for brunch. You can order the regular foods or the brunch foods.

My favorite is Atchafalaya because it's a great mix of awesome food, reasonable prices, bloody mary bar, charming atmosphere and live music.

Most people are going to say:

Patois and Atchafalaya. And rightfully so. Both are great. I love both those places.

I'll give you one in the French Quarter that a lot don't know about: Cafe Amelie. Pretty decent food, but GREAT courtyard. There are better places but its a nice time outside if with a girlfriend/wife.

Just went to Commander's for brunch this past sunday and it was awesome, but for the price I think i would prefer Patois. If money isn't a concern I am choosing Commander's.

You might be SOL for getting reservations at Commander's if you have waited this long.

The courtyard at Cafe Amelie is amazing...but many mind find it too hot to eat outside this time of year.

Call Sylvain and see if you can get a seating. Doubt you can but that's where you should go if you can.

Their shrimp and grits might be the best in town.

Meh. Coquette never really did it for me.

Atchafalaya is my favorite. Stanley is pretty good. However, I always ended up at Elizabeth's for the most part.

The shrimp and grits at Atchafalaya is hands down the best in town BUT they don't have them on their brunch menu...only dinner. Seems insane to me considering it's a typical brunch item.

I seem to get something different every time and it's always good. My boyfriend likes the Boudreaux.
