Never listened to them. My daughter went to Wakarusa and said her favorite show was Big Gigantic.

Its not hipster. Its EDM, the crowd is a bunch of rolling college kids. Not my cup of tea, but chicks dig it.

Thanks for the input. I kinda figured as much but trying to stay somewhat in the loop. Of course she grew up listening to my stuff and digs a lot of it too.

I dont see the music having too much staying power, its just fun to dance to when you are fricked up.

I dont get the appeal of big gigantic at all. Its a dude that presses play on his laptop and then does some average sax solos over it.

Dude is way better than average... Here's him playing with Umphreys McGee earlier this year. He starts around 6:30

I'm so sick of the "press play on a laptop" argument being used in an attempt to belittle edm.

Not trying to belittle anything, i rather enjoy beats antique which does close to the same thing.

Plus ive always been a fan of hip hop djs, which you could also use that same argument against.

I just found big gigantic to be rather boring. I didnt enjoy bassnectar either.

I'm well enough acquainted with you in this board to know you weren't buy it's just getting old that that same phrase is uttered in every single edm thread made on this board.
