Apparently, he is claiming a TCU Offer. He is a center out of Brother Martin in New Orleans. What is the story?

Center prospect, will probably get further eval'd by LSU. Seems to be a pretty good prospect.

If he really has an offer, he should be impressed. TCU has been very selective in who they are offering on the Offensive Line this year. Only 3 other offers have been made so far by TCU for the O line. Just for comparison purposes, LSU has already offered 14 different players for the Offensive Line.

And every single one of them is better than anyone TCU will sign. What's your point?

Sensitive and not correct either. LSU was just being used as a reference point because that is the team you guys are most familiar with. It wasn't a shot at LSU.

The TCU coaches like to take a more methodical approach to recruiting the Offensive line compared to other positions. This is why it is interesting that Hoefeld may hold an offer.

Wrong on both accounts. I could not give any less of a shite about TCU, but don't compare their recruiting to LSU's. It is not comparable, regardless of position.

Oh really? I looked it up and did you know that TCU has sent more players to the NFL on the Offensive Line than LSU since 2007? TCU has LSU beat 4 to 2 by my public school counting.

TCU (4)
Marcus Cannon (2011)
Marshall Newhouse (2010)
Blake Schlueter (2009)
Herb Taylor (2007)

LSU (2)
Joe Barksdale (2011)
Herman Johnson (2009)

Now, maybe LSU is stronger across the board but the above at least shows that TCU knows a thing or two about selecting and/or developing players for the Offensive line. I think you are underselling TCU my friend.

And? LSU still recruits better than TCU. Deal with it. If you don't like it, then you should stop cluttering up our board with your shitty threads.

What is your problem? This is not about TCU v. LSU. LSU has not even offered this player. You are the one trying to make it into an LSU v. TCU thing. I was just asking about a player from Louisiana which many of the people on here are going to likely be the best sources of information for since they are from Louisiana or follow its recruiting closely.

It is amazing you would even care considering how little I actually do post on this board. If you hate my posts so much, just ignore them. I only have about 130 something posts so it shouldn't be that hard to do.

I like Hoefield and figured he would have been offered long ago because he's a C. I like the TX kid better but don't think Hoefield would be bad if we chose him instead. I think TCU would be getting a good one if they could land him. Of course if we offer it's over.

As always thank you sir. Who is the TX kid, Tyler Tezeno? If so, he did an interview on May 23rd where he all but says he is going to commit to LSU. Apparently, his family is from Louisiana. Boise also offered this player which is always a good sign as well. Looks like he may have 15 to 20 pounds on Hoefield too which may be the reason why they like him more than Hoefield. Either way, it looks like he will commit shortly.

Yeah that's the kid. May be a hang up with his commitment though. I think he'll be in the class but it's no certainty right now. (Not his choice)

That doesn't sound too good. Did the recruit think he had an offer but did not?

You do realize what LSU has done over the last 12 years. Mentioning TCU in the same conversation as LSU in football is a big stretch. I don't know how many players LSU has had drafted or at what position but they have been as dominant as any other program in recent memory. My guess is TCU's offensive line would look pretty average against an LSU defense.

Buddy, please stfu! That TCU fan has been nothing but polite, and you're being a jackass. Plus, he's embarrassing you, and you're embarrassing the rest of us Tiger fans.

You too, jackass! The guy isn't saying TCU is as good as LSU. He's talking about a kid both schools might be recruiting. And, again, he's being a perfect gentleman about it. So what? Is your inferiority complex so great that you can' deal with them being mentioned in the same sentence? Julius Peppers and Julius Caesar were both named Julius. Can I not write that sentence because Caesar was a greater man?

If you think I'm embarrassed because he pulled completely arbitrary stats out of his arse, you're fricking dumb. And if you get embarrassed by anything that has happened in this thread, you've got serious shame issues.
