I agree

I disagree with "rapidly". III had some redeeming qualities. It fell right off the table during IV though.

They definitely got worse, but Rocky IV is a guilty pleasure for me. I still get pumped when Rocky kicks that commies' arse.

Maybe. But I will say this...anytime I see any rocky movie on, regardless of which one, and regardless of where they are in the movie, I will sit down and watch it. ANY ONE OF THEM!!

It definitely declined from it's Best Picture days. III and IV were just 80's cheese. They could've just as easily been action movies.

Still enjoyable movies but not in the same league as the first two.

During this fight, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!

Rocky IV is incredible...not in a great movie kind of way but just all around awesome 80s montage kind of way.

Also...how the hell did Rocky come in all tan and shite to fight Drago when he was training in Siberia for 3 months

Rocky 4 was ridiculous but should be on every red-blooded American's list of guilty pleasures.

Now that I think about it:

III and IV were both pretty solid. I guess its basically V and Balboa that were not good.

Hey, I love the movie. But don't tell me that the robot doesn't make you cringe. The only word I can even think of that describes the last two minutes, with the speech about America to the Russians, is ridiculous.

The robot was product placement. And actually sets up 5 nicely buy showing how easily money can be pissed away.

The speech was cheesey, but hey, it was the 80's.
