Sorry if someone already made a thread for this, I just saw it. But that was pretty damn awesome seeing one of my favorite actors ever playing with the amazing Black Keys. Well done by MTV putting that on, its a TV moment I wont forget.

I know Johnny Depp also recorded with Oasis on Fade In Out. I don't know if he ever played live with them though. If so that's footage I'd like to see.

I'm gonna say it, don't care if y'all agree. But I was not happy with the idea of Black Keys playing at MTV's awards show. I have a deep loathing for MTV in every way. I don't respect them for music television, don't respect their awards shows, nothing at all.

That said, The Black Keys are awesome and if someone produces a link I will both watch and share it with my friends.

The Black Keys went from a great band, to just another over produced record label corrupted, mess.
Magic potion was the last 'real" Black keys CD.

You are dumb. El Camino has some badass songs on it, so does brothers. I do wish Auerbach would grow his hair back out though.

That's a bit harsh. Bands change. Their sound changes. It is inevitable, and it can be observed in any band with long term success. I loved their older stuff just as much as you, but even I can admit that their recent stuff is quality too.

They were great when they played the blues. Now they've turned into pop, but they're good at it. I just miss the blues. I thought Brothers was their worst album but El Camino is solid.

Magic Potion is the best album of the 2000s imo.

It was just my opinion, relax. I'm sure they could care less about my opinion with all the money they are raking in. But to call someone dumb, when you make a comment like this "I wish Auerbach would grow his hair back out though"...... If you want to see dumb, find a mirror.
