The wife and I went there for lunch. The first appetizer we ordered they were out of. The second appetizer we were told, we wouldn't get until after our meal arrived. My wife's brisket sandwich had more gristle than meat and the bread was so soaked in grease she couldn't pick up her sandwich. When we called the manager to our table we could smell liquor on him. As we left the place, we saw him drinking beer at the bar. This place ain't gonna make it.

There's a food board devoted entirely to topics such as this.

Stfu bro. The place is obviously still working out some kinks. They'll be good here in a few weeks. Just stick to your faves Applebee's and chilis.

I actually have ate there a few times, and LOVE it! Food and set up is great.
Just like any restaurant that just opens, it will take about a month to work the kinks out. The one in Monroe has great service and food... this one will eventually too. If you remember correctly, when Walkons first opened, they had the same problems if not worse.
Service is shaky right now, no question about it...but its new. You got to wait a little while for them to weed the stupid people out, then make a judgement. If the service is still bad by then, I agree....it wont make it long.

Nah, my office is near there and I've seen the work they've done on a daily basis over the past few months.... I understand that this is just a soft opening and they're working out some kinks. I may give it a shot sometime this week though. I'm going to do my best to support them, they've taken an eyesore and turned it into a damn attractive restaurant. Hoping they do well personally.

Go back to the OT if you're writing the place off after one visit.

I had a decent mahi sandwich there recently and enjoyed it. It wasn't overcooked, and a choice of side came with it for ten bucks.

The only thing I didn't care for was the wind tunnel effect at the bar. There are extremely potent fans that blow directly down on you when seated there.
