Which team was more dominant during their respective season in their sport?
Yankees won 114 games
Bulls 72 games
Red Wings 57 games
Bears 15 games
Each team won a championship

Baseball fan always brings up a team that they never actually watched.
no offense,31, it isn't that your opinion isn't valid. Baseball fan seems to be the biggest culprit of this (minor)offense. How can one give that answer when you never saw them play?

Red Wings 57 games

Anyone of these teams could have been upset in the playoffs/series with the exeption of the Bulls. An act of God wouldnt have kept them from the title. It was a lock.

easy.
Also, I wasn't alive in either '85 or '72 but why did you include the 85 bears instead of the perfect 72 dolphins?

'96 Bulls because they're the only team on the list to set the record for most wins and best winning percentage in a season.

Jordan: MVP, All-Star MVP and Finals MVP,
Jordan and Pippen All-NBA First Team
Jordan Pippen and Rodman: All-Defensive First Team
Rodman: Rebound leader

All that plus Kerr draining threes

That Bears team doesn't belong in this same class.
I think that 15-1 49ers team (1989?) that demolished the Broncos in the Super Bowl was way more of a complete team than the 85 Bears.
And OBTW this guy was on their sidelines and didn't even play a down...

Tried to stay in last 30 years as many on this board wouldn't remember older teams or watched them play..... I was able to witness each of teams listed.

Fair enough.

I agree that the '89 49ers were better, but they were 14-2 that year. They outscored their opponents in post season 126-26.
In the playoffs, Montana was dominant, with a 78.3% completion percentage, 800 yards, 11 touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 146.4 rating.

The Bulls scored 105ppg and gave up 93ppg. Outside of a 32 point loss on the road to NYK, the Bulls' nine other losses were by an average of 5ppg, the last three of which were one point losses.

I vote for 27 Yankees. If he were here, Peej could tell us stories about watching them and catching foul balls.
