has a total of 2 points in the 4th quarter, and ESPN isn't even discussing it?

I think it is because he does shy away from it while LeBron does.

In games like this the Thunder seem to go away from Durant, while LeBron tends to case away by choice.

Also you just have to credit the Spurs, nothing clutch coming out of a 20 point game.

Really? I can make the case Durant was EXACTLY like LeBron.

The major difference? Durant has been much better in the 1st 3 Qrts unlike LeBron against the Mavs.

LeBron was essentially playing PG in the finals. He was feeding Wade and Bosh. Yes he was being a bit of wuss by not shooting. But he was feeding the hot hand.

At least LeBron's 4th Qrt/late game collapses happen because he has DWADE on the team. Durant watches Russell Westbrook become Russell Trainwreck and he does nothing about it.

I'm sure Screamin A. Smith will bring it up today.

Durant has 10 pts in the 2 games with free throws. Still bad, but not 2 points bad.

1) the games are usually out of hand by the 4th Q (down by high double digits) so there's no room really for him to take over, especially with how little he touches the ball. It's not like he's touching the ball and passing it in the clutch.

2) Lebron brings the ball down the court every time, Durant plays with a ball dominating point guard who is suppossed to, you know, pass it to him

3) He's shooting a very high percentage from the field throughout the game on limited shots.

4) Durant is more of a finesse player, Lebron can basically get to the hole whenever he wants.

I think I pretty much covered it.

And oh yeah, they're getting beat like a fricking drum on defense.

Durant had 30+ points last night with a good shooting percentage.

I don't see people saying Kobe isn't clutch when he takes 30 shots to get 30 points and the lakers lose by 10+

This. Lebron is like Shaq in his prime with the Lakers. Hes such a freak of nature physically that you could literally call an offensive foul on 75 % of his drives to the rim.

When Shaq played, it was almost as if the refs were tossing a coin to decide if Shaq was fouled or if he committed a foul (just don't tell the Kings that )

I'm not in the KD is choking camp, but in fairness:

- The Spurs were up by 9 in the 4th quarter of game 1.

- They were down by 8-10 points much of the 4th quarter. That's anything but a decided game. That would actually be about the perfect time for your superstar to take over.

There is this guy by the name of Russell Westbrook who is killing his team.

Yep, that same guy that the MSB was heaping a shitload of praise on before this series...

Your op is false, but it's still an issue. Harden and Westbrook are dominating the ball

It's funny that all of these excuses have been made for Lebron, but y'all just dismiss then as dumb

It was deserved.

He had a bad game 1.

he didn't have the best shooting game 2, but he had 27/8/7 with no turnovers. Overall, that's not a bad game at all.

When I say decided, I mean not within 4-5 points. He's playing behind the 8 ball to begin with, then, like I said Russell westbrook is Just running and gunning as soon as he gets the ball. I don't know what you want the dude to do...they may get the lead down to 9-10 points between the 3-4 quarters, but they're down by 10-15 or more most of the game

They were up by 9 points in the 4th quarter of game 1.

That's not playing behind no 8 ball.
