Will have a couple hours to kill after a cruise in Tampa any places I need to try?

If you're looking to remain close by and on foot, right there where the cruises board, there's a restaurant/movie complex that has a bowling alley with upscale food called Splitsville. Yes they've got pizzas, but also pulled pork sliders, spicy tuna rolls, etc. It's a cool place to hang out and get casual food, with sporting events on the TVs. There are also a couple of other restaurants there too, a tapas place, Hooters, a Daiquiri bar and a mediocre Thai place.

Other than that, you're going to be taking a taxi. I recommended Samurai Blue in Ybor City in a thread here yesterday, but that's a cab ride.

I was going to suggest this followed by Berns, but I don't think he has the time.

Take the trolley that runs right in front of the cruise terminal to Ybor City area. Interesting bars and restaurants. Blue Iguana?
