How good of a DE is he and where do they want him to play?

He is currently playing DE and every other school is recruiting him as a DE...but us. I think he is a better prospect than Fordham. He actually reminds me of Travis Dickson somewhat.

they want to move him to TE, Center, or even tackle....they do not want to keep him on defense

Makes no sense to take that kid with a juco TE and smith essentially a lock.

However, Les loves him some TEs that he can maybe move to other positions.

Not trolling, serious question. How many of those moves have worked in the past? (from TE to something else) Ken Adams? Did that really work out?
I'll say that the DL to somewhere else has worked out well. Blackwell, Barksdale, Hitt & Copeland.

Well, this has an added twist in that the recruit is a DE who we are planning to move to TE and maybe move to something else.
2012: Dillon Gordon - still there
2011: None
2010: Kendrick Adams - served a purpose at DE
Travis Dickson - still there
Cameron Fordham - C of the future, not anymore
Nick Jacobs - still there
2009: None
2008: Matt Branch - OL, last year approaching
Tyler Edwards - dabbled at FB
2007: Jordan Corbin - planned move to DE; medical
Mitch Joseph - stayed there
Alex Russian - stayed there and backed up as snapper
2012: Dillon Gordon - still there
2011: None
