I see it's coming on at noon (eastern time) on HBO. I saw it when it first came out and was very moved by the movie.
I remember Kevin Bacon's first screen appearance in "Animal House" and his performance as the despicable Nokes in "Sleepers". But this is far and away his best acting performance.
"Taking Chance" is a film everyone should watch.

Good movie. Another good one with a similar subject is The Messenger with Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster.

I just got back from hitting golf balls and it's on again. So, I'm watching. It is such a powerful movie. I'm not ashamed to say that I will cry again like a little girl.
