Trucks: Toyota, Ford, or Nissan

I'm kicking around the idea of getting a new truck. Currently, I have a 2005 Nissan Titan with over 100K. I haven't been truck shopping since getting it so I have no idea what the market now bears.
I've owned a pair of 4x4 Lariats in the late 90s through 2003, and they were awful.
Got the Titan in 05, I do basic preventative maint, and it has run like a champ.
It looks like the best deals can be had on Fords and Nissans.
I know Toyotas hold their value much better but are they better trucks?
Are there any known issues with any of these trucks I should be looking for?

but seriously. My dad just bought himself a new one and it seriously kicks arse. I am really thinking of buying one myself. I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

Bought a 2011 Tundra last October. Got the 5.7 iForce engine. Best truck I've ever owned.

Out of those three I gotta go Ford.
Nissan hasn't changed in years, and I believe Ford will get better mileage than both of the imports

That's my biggest gripe with the Nissan, it's the same truck I already own. I might need some diversity in my boring life.

We need to start a thread and just list who likes what brand. Keep it stickied

It's RAM, not Dodge. Sheesh...
Most here know where I stand in terms of trucks...but given your choices, probably the Ford.

The F150s are nice. I love their ride and power. All 3 new engines are much more powerful than the old 5.4.
Fuel economy and occasional towing = Ecoboost
Everyday driving with fair amount of towing and/or engine mods = 5.0
Bat outta hell = 6.2
I looked at Tundras before getting my F150. I did not care for the interior or the ride. The engine is very powerful but I believe my 6.2 gets the edge. However, Toyotas reliability is second to none.
I did not consider the Titan. Same body style for a decade and very little interior comforts. However, my friends has been proven reliable with over 100k of very hard miles.
If I were going to pick my top 2 trucks it would be the F150 and Tundra. The others do not come close in power, reliability, interior. I picked my truck just on personal opinion but either choice is a good one.
(Yes I know that the Denali is nice, yes I know the LTZ is nice, and yes I know the Laramine is nice, but there are other reasons that I did not consider them.)

I do want to add that on paper the Tundra 5.7 motor looks better than the F150 Ecoboost. However, in real life daily driving and towing situations I believe they are neck and neck. Only the Ecoboost will get better mileage unloaded.
The 5.0 is better suited for towing because of its loaded mpg. Once the Ecoboost gets a load and the turbos spooling, bye bye mpg. Keep in mind, while the torque is better than the 5.0, the 5.0 has much more torque over the old 5.4. There are millions of those on the road towing large loads.
The 6.2 is hard to find outside of the Harley Davidson, Laroat Limited, and Raptor. But it can easily be ordered in a Lariat.
