You have to give some credit to MSU. They had more to gain by winning the game today than we did. We will more than likely win our regional and depending on who we play in the super regional, chances are we will get to Omaha. Everyone just needs to chill and get ready for next weekend... When it counts.

i don't think eades had that good of a performance. he walked a ton of batters. yes, he battled like a mofo and, thanks to some damn good defense and some luck, he came out ok. he could have just as easily given up a ton of runs.

Why say anything at all? There is no point in being negative about this game. Did you honestly EXPECT LSU to win the SEC tournament? I am a casual baseball fan, but I figured since this tournament had little meaning to them, they would not be playing with the same heart (not on purpose, but just because of their position)as other teams that needed a better showing.

Yes, this tournament doesn't mean as much as next week does but it still is a goal of the team to win it.
My beef with the tourney is that it hurts pitching so close to the regionals. I'm glad we can rest now though. What they need to do is start the tourney at an earlier date or cut down on team/games.
