You guys are morons. Every company including yours recruits people. Check out monster.com. These employers are recruiting. Agents aren't paid unless sales are made. The definition of a pyramid is you get paid to recruit.

Right but all the recruits of Primerica employees are fighting over the same territory. As someone said earlier, it gets too big and the bottom falls out. ie, pyramid scheme

While all your friends and family are left with money wasting away in bad whole life policies because they felt pressure to help you out.

Alright. We have someone that signed up but was too lazy to get their license and do anything.

People would rather check their email and collect a paycheck.

To your family and friends. You provide the people that you try and sell to. While you are being "trained" you bring a stranger into your family and friends houses and ask them to break out their financial records then try and sell them a product. You will never be looked at the same again book it. I knew a few that tried it, and I almost got sucked into until they sat me down for the first deal and asked me to write down everyone I know and their phone numbers. I said no sir and rolled out.

They use a similar model that the rainbow vacuum people use. It is a good thing to the minority of people that work themselves up, but I am sure they know that only a certain percentage of people who start out selling them will get out after a certain period of time, however; I am sure if they can target more and more of those type of people every year that only increases sales.

This is another thing they like to do. They want to brag to you and tell you all these big numbers about how much they make which is bull shite for the most part.

The fct that we are even having this conversation proves that it is shady. You don't see people saying these things about Pacific Life or ING or Wells Fargo. You do see it said about Amway and Vector and Primerica. Its ridiculous how the people involved in those companies try to defend them because they know if they can't get recruits to buy into it their money dries up.

This isn't really the point. The point is it gives normal people a chance to be in biz for themselves. Most peeps current setup doesn't allow for that.

If they have a solid product then I wouldn't say it is "shady" in the sense they are trying to sell nothing for something, but the approach they use is no doubt deceiving.. or at least it seems like it can be.

That is exactly the point. You don't make much money by being on the bottom
