the run support wasn't there no matter who was on the hill. Gonna be a long way back though. Hopefully Gausman, Eades, and someone else can get us back to Sunday Who would we go with on Saturday?

Was thinking this during the last 3 innings.

Was actually impressed with how Johnny Wholestaff fared today.

Stratton is one of the better pitchers in the SEC. Tip the cap and move one. We have the natty locked up.

I hope so... if UK beats UF or USCe for the title and we go 2 and Q I'll be a little nervous.

No chance. Being the undisputed SEC Champs goes a long, long way.

I hate that we dont bunt in the late part of games...we get one on in the 6th and hit into a double play...we were already down 1 run at that time.

Then Dozar hits a double.

hate it

So USCe should get a national seed based on losing al 3 to KY, and 2 of 3 to UF and LSU? Right...

State wouldn't have scored 3 runs on Nola, much less Gausman. Their offense is terrible. Stratton is probably pissed he signed with State because he'd no hit them every time out if he had the chance.

Were we expected to win this game with Stratton v. Johnny Wholestaff? I sure didn't expect a W.

It is all part of a bigger plan...just as pitching Nola very little was.

Next week is most important.

If we end up 2-2 I will be more than pleased.

I definitely agree. Don't have a problem with the pitching staff at all. Now us at the plate was pretty

I totally agree that the run support just wasn't there. It's like our guys went up there with broom sticks!

Granted, our approach at the plate all season hasn't been the best, but Stratton has been doing that to teams all year.

My issue is with Arby Fields, he is "Trey Watkins" struggling right now (inb4:racist:). Problem though is that his defense in center is too good to take out, especially when you're backup is Jared Foster – a liability in both the field and at the plate.

We need to move him to the eighth hole and just accept that he is an automatic out and anytime he gets on base is an unexpected surprise.

Just got out of a meeting and haven't checked the game thread...who did we throw after Nola?
