Five Guys was not good

I tried it for the first time Saturday and was not impressed at all. I'm sure I'm not the first to say that, but really didn't enjoy it at all.
As far as burgers go, Akasha Market near Tiger Land has always had a great burger. Seasoned well and great fries.

I like them. They're not as good as Roul's but they're better than any other chain. Their fries are really good too.

yep not good.
especially for those of us who aren't decieved by lots of shitty toppings. underneath somewhere is a little charred hamburger patty disk that tastes like charcoal.
put all the shite on it you want, some of us actually like the meat better than the bread and jalapenos.
oh and their fries suck. for some place that touts their fresh cut fries they cant cook them for shite.

anybody still hit up Riverside Patty? haven't had them in years. I used to love the Cheeseburger special--burger, great fries, and drink for decent price. I hear there more expensive these days.

fuddruckers..now there's a damn burger with some actual MEAT.

I don't think they double fry their french fries, which makes them undercooked and soggy.

You want a burger, go to Lee's in Slidell. Best burger ever, imo.

You are such a bitter scorned woman over Five Guys. So they burn every burger they make but are expanding like crazy eh?
Five Guys is a premium fast food burger, that's it. I don't think anyone on here has ever claimed it's the best burger on the planet, it's just a step above what you get at BK, McD, etc. They do seem to feature toppings over the beef, and the fries are thick and tender rather than small and crispy, and both of those appear to be polarizing, love it or hate it choices. It's not that big of a deal and certainly not worth being so bitter over.

To me five guys is a good greasy burger when I want something one step above the fast food chain burgers.

I agree. Only thing is it costs more than fast food, doesn't have a drive-thru window, and is inside a shopping center. It's like a limbo between fast food and sit down restaurant.

yup.
you definitely have to plan to go to one here in nashville and good luck finding parking in green hills or near vanderbilt at lunch.
not very convienent; it seems people get stars in their eyes at all the 'free' toppings they can get and ignore the fact the food isnt very good.
give me a sonic or burger king burger over 5gays any day of the week. much better flavor.
