I like the clean look. But I guess they are missing out on the extra corporate ad revenue.

I am sure Skip would fix it if he could.

I think getting as much $$$ to our athletic department is also just as important IMO

Eades is pitching a good game, so this is what we have left to bitch about??

Alex Box >>>> any other college baseball stadium.

Be happy with that.

I hate the billboards, but it is what it is. Frankly, I'm surprised people pay for them. I can say with certainty that I've never purchased a service or product after seeing an outfield advert.

I'm sure you wouldn't complain when LSU raised ticket prices to make up for the lost ad revenue.

Tanner isn't all about pocketing money like the godfather of LSU baseball was.

Whatever the "godfather" did obviously worked.

Could be mistaken, but I think that their park is not owned by USC. Don't know if the city owning it has anything to do with it.

It's more than just that. It's the rightfield berm and deck, the leftfield line patio dining area, aluminum hand rails in the backdrop are painted maroon unlike LSU's redundant plethora of shiny silver rail(ugly on tv), USC w/MLB proper hunter/plantation green unlike LSU's shiny spearmint green walls..

And unlike LSU's Mardi-Gras puke of three different grandstand seat colors, they stick to the school's lone predominant color seats..

etc..

LSU's exterior facade may be the best in NCAA? It's certainly at or near the top..

But, USC's outfield/seating is better, and the backdrops/woodlines/ocean views at Old Myth, Okla, Pepperdine, etc..rate over LSU's as any view of Tigerstadium is slightly negated by yellow tin monstrosity Ponderosa and excessive ad-clutter.

You will never convince me that there is a more scenic view outside of a stadium than the one at Pepperdine.

Disagree. Love the stadium and their crowd is really engaged. The exterior of AB looks better but nothing wrong with SC's.

Why do people bitch about having billboards? I am sure LSU has people lined up wanting to sponsor just based on the attendance numbers alone. Outside of Baton Rouge, college baseball is not that big of deal (with the exception of a few other schools obviously).

If you have a product that draws a lot of eyes, why not take advantage of providing sponsorship? IMO, South Carolina's ballpark looks boring.
