Yea I gotta feeling they stop taking that 1st pitch strike. That absolutely killed them today. They FINALLY got the hint in the 9th inning to come out hacking.
God I pray baby Nola is on tonight

quote:
2. Three-Team Tie (or more): When three or more teams are tied for a finish, the following procedure will be used (in descending order until the tie is broken). (Note: If the three tied teams have three different records against each other, they shall be seeded in best-percentage order. Otherwise, once the three-team tie is broken, the two-team tie-breaker will be used):
A. If all three teams are common opponents: Total won-lost percentage of games played among the tied teams.
B. Won-lost percentage of the tied teams versus the No. 1 seed and proceeding through the No. 10 seed, if necessary, using common opponents only.
C. If three or more teams still are tied, the Commissioner will conduct a draw

I don't think we'll use him as long as we did KG. I say if he can give us 7 good innings to turn it over.

which to me says it would be the winning percentage against SC. I know UK swept SC so if we didnt sweep them then i believe UK would be the 1 seed, LSU the 2 seed.
oh i see now xeno answered already. nevermind.

Hell, if he's at 90p thru 8 I think we'll leave him in...
But yea, PM will have a much tighter hook tonight having the entire bullpen. Gotta admit, was a bit miffed he didn't have a lefty warming in the 9th tonight too. Worked out n the end but my a-hole got a lil tight w/ that lefty coming up w/ tying runner on

I was looking for the butt paste because I had a feeling it might start hurting.

We'd just have a 3-Way tie and they'd break it to decide the seeds for the SECT.

Still get to hang the banner.

True, but again that is only for purposes of seeding. Co-champs are co-champs.

yes

they dont "determine" anything. everyone is just co-champs.

In my book, we will have to finish better than UK before I would claim it

The only way we can get the number one seed is to sweep SC and have UK lose one more game.
or have UK lose two more and us win 1 more.

It's a little different than Ole Miss claiming a share of the Western Division. If you can claim a share of the overall SEC title, you do it. That's kinda a big deal.

i dont think their is a scenario where in a tie between LSU, UK and UF, LSU can end up 3rd.. but i see where you are saying it could happen.. just not this year.
