I read that as "the band members hate Eddie."

Don't we all.
But he had a form of head/neck cancer, which easily migrates to the lymph nodes. He's lucky he's made it this far. Been well over ten/fifteen years.

at the nashville show, in ed's solo, he looked up at the crowd and smiled and the crowd went nuts. Ed seemed genuinely happy over the the crowd's gratitude of his solo.

I think they all hate Dave actually. I read one review online that detailed him screaming at roadies during the show to turn the A/C blowers on. Writer said it ruined the show pretty much. Dave's a dick wacko.
