My Mom is in Geneva for work right now, which has me craving a nice petit dejeuner with croissant, cheese, and fruit.

Any recommendations on good cheeses for breakfast?

Many cheeses are good both hard and soft. Ricotta with figs and walnuts, around here a good creole cream cheese with a bit of good honey, a good warm Brie spread on toast, hard sharp cheddar, asiago a good gruyere, even a smoked Gouda with melons and thin prosciutto.

The sky is the limit.

Queso Fresco is very good, especially on some huevas rancheros or breakfast tacos.

Sharp cheddar with scrambled eggs is pretty awesome. Gruyere goes well with eggs also.

Crab meat and melted Brie on an English muffin is great
