Ive killed about ten brown widows and two egg sack in about a three month period. Gave someone give me some recommendations on a good poison or company to use to eliminate them?

re: Spider problem

I spray liquid bifenthrin (talstar) around the bottom of the bricks of the house and where the bricks meet siding. Also spread granular every three months around the house a couple passes. Keeps ants, spiders, whatever away.

Inside I use Bengal but rarely do if I treat good outside.

My boathouse is like a spider condo. My pest guy said since they don't come to bait, you have to either hit them with an application, or hope they track through where you've applied it. Nothing worse than an early morning entanglement in their night's work on the web.

re: Spider problem

Suspend, get it at a do it yourself pest store. Kills slimiest all bugs for 6 months, including spiders. It comes concentrated and the little container will last a long time, but keep it somewhere inside the heat will make it useless...

Eta- it is safe for pets and kids once it dries...

We had plenty of brown widows in our warehouse at work. Suspend knocked em out and lasted all winter.

I've found Bengal works really well for roaches, ants and spiders.

Just curious but does Lorsban treat for spiders?

Better get them while you can. Heard of houses in Florida that simply had to be abandoned due to them. I'd spray like crazy and maybe put some clothes on the floor at night (as traps).

A couple of posted have mentioned Suspend and it gets my vote too. I think I paid about $70 for a quart of concentrate, but it does the trick.

The overhead of my slip was full of spiders and they'd shite all over the boat. I don't know what kind of spiders I had, but I'm certain the crapped their body weight every night. And to add to the problem, for whatever reason, spider shite doesn't just rinse off, you've got they wipe or scrub it.
I sprayed Suspend and... no spiders! (And more importantly, no spider shite.) as an added bonus, I don't see any on my deck (above the slip) either.

I had a brown recluse on an envelope I flipped over when I got my mail a while back. Startled the shite out of me and lucky my kids were not handling the mail. I have not seen any around my house other than that time, though. Where do they like to hide?

My problem as well. They've about ruined my custom boat cover, but if I don't cover it after every use (and risk mildew creep) then the fiberglass is practically ruined. Told my pest guy to spray Suspend all over.

re: Spider problem

I killed a few black widows everyday when I first moved in and a ton of egg sacks. Got this:

Black Flag Extreme home. Sprayed all along the base of the brick and siding, door thresholds, etc and haven't really had a problem since. Black widows are gone, no other insects etc inside. It's about 15 for a gallon
