Wow my first buboy job was 2.15, no tips

Minimum wage for busboys as they aren't considered to be warning tips. Most wait staff will give them a bit if they do the job well, thus earning the waitron good tips.

Minimum wage I would think. Busboys don't get tips do they?

Around five an hour plus tipshare

Most restaurants now pay tip share to host and Busser to offset labor.

That's what he was telling me, he didn't mention an hourly wage.

As long as it is in a restaurant that does a good business he will make well over minimum wage.

He's going to work ay Sammy's in Prairieville.

Even the few I know that work at mediocre restaurants make decent wages. If he moves up to being a waiter he will make more. Not a bad gig imo.
ETA: daughter is a waitress at Sammy's in Central and does very well even after tipping out busboys and bartender. He should do well.

My first job was busboy. I made minimum wage, never got tips, and the waitresses were old and bitchy. At least the one eyed, ex-con, dishwasher was cool.

I saw an article about Sammy wanting to put the rear drive at Highland Road. It mentioned he was living in Monroe. Why the hell is he living there and what the hell why wouldn't he open one there as well?

Most busboys get same deal as waiters-shitty wage but tips. The restaurant gets free work from them, like waiters.
Some smaller places may pay like 6 an hour but less tips.
