Which is a better Ramblin' Man?

Hank Williams, Sr.
or
The Allman Brothers Band
For musical accompaniment, I have to go with the ABB. Lyrically, Hank is one of the best in any genre, and the best in country (IMO), and I'll have to give him the nod.
What say ye?

I'm a fan of Bocephus, but he pales in comparison to his father. No question.

Agreed, although Ramblin' Man was recorded without Berry Oakley and Duane Allman, both of whom established that superlative. ABB's catalog (studio-wise) went to shite, relatively speaking, after Duane and Berry's death.
ETA: I'm still the only Hank, Sr.
Odd, because ABB is pretty much at the top of my musical pantheon.

Dickie is a very underated guitarist and was over shadowed by Duane IMO. Dickie alone makes ABB version better.

Hard not to be. Got to give props to Dickie though, he learned a lot of Duane's parts on guitar after his death, in order to play certain songs on tour.
Dickey is in my Top 5 of rhythm guitarists, FWIW.

Dickie wrote Jessica which makes him okay in my book

He can hold his own on lead as well. As heard on certain tracks on Filmore East.

Dickie wrote 'Liz Reed and Blue Sky, as well as Les Brers in A Minor. There's more, I'm sure, but that's off of the top of my head.
Liz Reed is probably my favorite ABB song, that or Dreams.

I actually met Dickie at a warren haynes concert in April, very nice guy. Needless to say I have to go with the ABB

If Hank Jr hadn't had famous coattails to hang on to, he'd be driving a truck.
