Still dont understand why LSU fans support the PF show. Dude is a gump douche. Then LSU fans come on here and bitch about what he says.

(I know thats not what you're doing, Im generalizing though)

As for Texas A&M and Missouri joining the SEC: "I would say strap it up," Miles said. "They're going to really not enjoy their welcoming to this conference."

Haha nice

PF reminds me of Sean Hannity(how he works his fan base) without that ultra annoying voice.

Agreed. And if they got it so right why are they discussing changing to a playoff-like system? It's because everybody knows they got it wrong, except the Gumps. A change will also assure that Bama, and other media darlings, will never have to face a similar fate.

I was driving up to Atlanta for the SEC Championship this year and was listening to his show. One of his long-time callers, Shane from Centerpoint, died the night before and PF dedicated his first hour of the show to this guy and asked people to call in. I began calling and my wife wants to know what I am going to say. I told her now that Shane is gone the collective IQ in the state of alabama went up about five points. She would not let me make the call.

they shoe horned Bama into the game to usher in a playoff. That's why fowler and every other espn/abc talking head declared before the conference championships that the games that weekend were meaningless but still thought it was necessary to hold a Bama infomercial on game day. Even after all that campaigning we still ended up with the closest finish between 2&3 in BCS history.

A playoff will only eliminate the arguments on behalf of teams three and four. I don't think anyone believes that OK State would have won the NC last year if there had been a 4 team playoff.

Seems to me that the best team prevailed last year, quite handily.(21-0)

No playoff-like system is perfect, of course, but it's as fair as you're gonna get. And it's fair enough that nobody seriously questions who the champion is in, say basketball, unlike many years in college football. And whether Okie State would've won anything in a playoff is irrelevant.

The BCS is supposed to match 1 & 2, not necessarily the "best" teams. And you weren't the best team in November, at your own house, and didn't deserve a do-over. Claiming you deserved it because you won the mulligan is typical Gump circular "logic".

Pretty sure that was actually his brother-in-law from what I remember hearing about that.

I get the sentiment, but that would have been crossing the line.

The only thing I hate worse than our fans going bitchtardtacular about how we got jerked around by the BCS is Alabama.

We got beat. DEAL WITH IT AND STOP ACTING LIKE MEL GIBSON IN CONSPIRACY THEORY.

Why would Les go slumming of PF's show? Port Allen Week in Review has more class.

How about something logical... Like win your devision or better yet your conference. When you take the top 10 teams in the country the talent level is marginal. So when you give a good team a "do over" from a previous loss. The emotion from that loss can carry a ton of momentum into and dominate a rematch game. Especially when teams are so evenly matched. Trust me, you would not have enjoyed the roles being reversed...
