Nick Harvey says we offered tonight. Listed as a db by most but imo he should be listed as an athlete. Kid can do a lot of different things whether with the ball or at db. Bama has already offered and is his very early leader and Texas is expected to make him a priority. Seemed excited about the LSU offer but these kids get excited by most offers so I don't pay much attention to that kind of stuff.

LSU has offered 2014 QB Jerrod Heard of Denton, Texas.

Jerrod Heard Highlights

Getting a good start and getting back into Texas I love it. Heard currently holds offers from Arizona State, Nebraska and now LSU per Rivals.

Heard looks to be our #1 QB target for 2014.

ATX do you think it hurts taking in Swoopes this past season? I have a feeling he will take over.

It is obviously real early for the 2014 kids, but depth chart could be one potential negative against us with Heard.

Thanks thateasttxboy & JJ24!

Got Swanson added in, got Williams' video added and Blomstrom's second video.

I had him in as an athlete (right below the corners). I gave him an offered pic and moved him up.

Here's what a Texas guy says about him: Burnt Orange Nation

quote:

Lancaster's Nick Harvey is a guy who could play either direction in college -- he has excellent feet and ability after the catch on offense and also delivers some big shots from his safety position. He's currently at number three and though his highlights are impressive, he seems more like the type of guy who will eventually end up closer to no. 10 in the state, depending on how many serious talents continue to emerge. The versatility is a plus and as good as he is with the ball in his hands, Texas defensive backs coach Duane Akina would probably fight for Harvey as a defensive player after seeing how hard he hits.

Jalen Collins played at Lancaster through his junior year so maybe he can help with him.

and Thank you Lord!

Almost put him in as a POI because I wanted LSU to get in on the guy.

He had a pretty good year for a first year, sophomore starter. The kid can run but he wants to be a passing quarterback and is doing everything to be the best passer he can be. He ran a whole lot less than his predecessor, J.W. Walsh, who went on to Okie State. Walsh's dad is still the coach. If you look at their numbers Heard could be a monster by his senior year.

He would come in as a winner at a big program that provides excellent coaching.

PP7, LSU is watching Quinn closely for baseball. He has had more contact with football due to being at their Junior day and Bayou pionic, but from what I hear they are watching that group of sophomores at Barbe closely in baseball. They won the 5A state title this year.

My bad. Mills transferred from Lancaster to DeSoto. LSUSports.com profile

Hope LSU can keep up the DFW recruiting.

TigerAlum93 & PP7, Quinn was at LSU's football camp as a sophomore too.

He has always been a fan of LSU but they haven't contacted his yet. He has been contacted by Miami U, Alabama, UCF, FSU, Mizzu, Pitt, Troy, Coastal carolina, UGA, but no LSU. Still plenty of time
