Honestly, all of those projections look like cakewalks with the exception of the SE baseball one

If we go 2-4, taking 1 vs Vandy and SC, it will be close IMO.

We won't be a national seed if this happens.

I give a shite because I want to win the whole damn thing. It is a little easier with a higher national seed because of who we would be paired up with in the Super Regionals and Regionals. That is the only reason in my mind.
, you don't know how the NCAA Baseball Committee works do you.

So it looks like our Path to omaha will probably include a home matchup against our future conference Foe. Lets give them a very nice welcome to the SEC

And why are we not projected a SR if we are in the top 5 everywhere?

we are. if you have a seed then you get a Super. the other 8 regional hosts are not seeded, only paired with the Super hosts

Southeastern Louisiana is No. 55 in the RPI, 2-4 against the top 50, but 9-0 against teams 51-100. Sweeps of Texas State, UT Arlington and Indiana State that prop up the Lions' case. SELA is 0-3 against Tulane but 2-0 against Mississippi State. A series win at SHSU this weekend would put the Lions in very good shape, but a series loss wouldn't necessarily torpedo them.

Usually around half the national seeds don't even make it to Omaha. Trying to position yourself at this point is futile. Texas could be playing in Baylor's #2 slot before it's all over with (the tournament isn't re-seeded). And our Regional and Super-Regional dancing partners will be determined more by geography than anything else.

Might be the easiest regional we've ever gotten.
