Heard Finebum say the other day that he'd put Petrino ahead of Miles IF Petrino was still employed. What a tool.

Please don't be offended. You made a pretty strong statement and I am supposing that you have some facts to back it up. I'm just asking that you share that information that backs up your statement. That's all. No need to get all defensive and huffy.
Now let's all settle down and get to specifics. I'm an LSU fan and I'd love to know precisely what and how did Miles quit. Nothing more. I know that you must have concrete evidence. Please share it.

How does Miles' salary factor into his "quitting" Did he miss practice to count his money? Did he spend his time at his financial advisor's office instead at the practice field?

You have some powerful information there and we'd really really like for you to share it with us.
Thanks

...
...so i'm hoping there's a thread on the More Sports Board that actually discusses this article and not just #2 on it. Cause I kinda feel sorry for Dooley at #14 on that list...

Now that it's settled..let's back on topic. I would take Miles as the #2 coach all day.
If we win on 1/9 you think this article has #1 & #2 flipped?

I think that all anybody is saying is - January 9, 2012 was a team loss - you want to give kudos to the defense for hanging tough for about a half with zero offense (again), fine - I do too.

However, and it goes beyond Jordan Jefferson - the offensive players simply didn't hold up their end of the bargain in the biggest game of their careers. The coaches, and Les most of all, deserve a huge chunk and maybe the only important chunk of the blame. However, to pretend Miles is the only guy in the program who failed to prepare for and execute a winning game plan belies a personal bias and/or an agenda.

I hope all of the people who bash Miles reads this, wakes up, and then realizes that Miles is a great coach. If y'all really loved LSU, y'all would quit publically bashing the guy. It actually will & does hurt the program.

I love our LSU guy, Coach Les Miles!!
