And so, when the NFL said last week in the announcement of the suspensions of Hargrove and three other players that the declaration “established not only the existence of the program with the Saints, but also that he knew about and participated in it,” that statement was blatantly incorrect. And when “independent” counsel Mary Jo White explained in a conference call last week that the “thrust” of the declaration was Hargrove’s acknowledgment of “the nature of the program and his participation in it,” that was blatantly incorrect, too.

like he should have saved the first couple spots, meaning where Jcoryce is right now Fun Bunch should have posted so if his original spot can't fit all the material it would just roll over into that one.

It was a both suggestion and tongue in cheek humor at the horrendous thread that was As the Plains Burn.

As the Plains Burn.
I agree, that was horrendous.
But this is the antithesis to that thread.
That thread was all about wild speculation, guilty-before-innocent, and schadenfreude.
This thread will be about picking apart the NFL's story.

Ehh you could argue this thread is all speculation as well for now.

I wouldn't argue that.
Would you?

Great article from Reilly.

The Anthony Hargrove declaration is complete dud (league blatantly lied about contents):
Can someone simply tell me what did the NFL say that was a lie?
And if there was a link to the article where the NFL said it, that would be even better.

He never admits to the bounty program in the declaration, nor does he admit to actually lying

Exactly.
Hargrove calls it a "so-called bounty program". He never confirms that there was one of any kind in place.
He never says he was told to lie, only to "get their story straight" because the league "has been out to get" GW for a long time.
He never says he was told to tell lies. Period.
The NFL used it as a smoking gun and represented that AH caracterized the entire system and the cover up. Nothing could be further from the truth.
How the NFL isnt getting crucified for it is beyond me.
