Picked a bottle of Stranahan's up this week instead of my go-to brand of Scotch, The Dalmore. I've been really impressed...I'm not a big fan of bourbon due to the sweetness. This is like Maker's Mark but less sweet, maltier and an echo of vanilla. Not sure if this deserves a new category of whiskey, but it is pretty dang good. Any whiskey enthusiasts have any thoughts?

Went and volunteered at the distillery a couple weeks ago for 5 hours and got some free booze.

There is a restaurant called the Rabbit Hole here in the Springs that serves a drink called the Buffalo Bill. Just apple juice and Stranahans...thing is sooooo dangerous. Successfully recreated that drink last night, and I'm paying for it this morning.

A friend brought me back a bottle a couple weeks ago. Pretty good stuff. It has a slightly sweet taste that is interesting.
Said one bottle that he almost brought me had "Sabatoge - Beastie Boys", after this week it would have been fitting to have a glass.
