Out of all the venues of the Big 3 (NFL, MLB, & NBA), list your favorite & least favorite. Choices may be based on looks, an experience you had there, a team that you like plays there etc...

Favorite- Wrigley Field (ivy, atmosphere)

Least: Candlestick Park (outdated, ugly)

Favorite - Camden Yards It's the original retro park. The warehouse in right field is classic.

Least - Tropicana Field It's a warehouse with a ball field in it. I've been in person and it's as bad in person as they claim.

A warehouse would be an upgrade. Looks more like a prison on the inside from what I see on TV.

My favorite--Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Favorite- Fenway Park (Even though I hate their team, Fenway Park is an absolute monument to the game of baseball. I hope it's never torn down.)
Least favorite- Cellular Field (Ugly, drab, and boring just like its team, it's no wonder the Cubs are so much more popular than the White Sox in that town despite being so crappy)

The really unfortunate thing is that the Oakland Coliseum was considered one of the best ballparks for baseball before Al Davis decided to renovate it for his football team. Just look at the wonderful views on this ballpark before Al Davis got his grubby paws on it. Just absolutely gorgeous.

Compared to the current park.

It's no wonder A's fans refuse to go to the ballpark even when their team is winning. The park is a complete shithole now.

Best that I've been to is Cowboys Stadium (by far)
Worst I've been to would probably be the Georgia Dome

Have you been there? I actually liked it a lot aside from it being in the ghetto. The concourses were updated and pretty nice, and the open concourse around the outfield was really cool. When I went the fan support was definitely not lacking either. It didn't blow me away by any stretch but it's worlds better than places like Tropicana, Oakland Coliseum, etc

I don't know about favorite but I can say that Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome) is definitely my least favorite venue. It's way too big for baseball, has a very antiseptic feel, and now I have to pay more for beers with the exchange rate and buy them one at a time (I know, ).

I agree 100%. Depite that, my fondest memories watching professional sports occurred in that dump. Another crappy place I saw a great event was Stanford Stadium for the 1994 World Cup match between the United States and Brazil on the 4th of July. And to round out the absolute disaster that the Bay Area was for sports venues, Candlestick Park sucked even worse for both baseball and football because of the even crappier weather and traffic.

It seems like they could build a really cool park in Toronto. Do they just not want to or don't have the money? I've never been there but the Skydome looks terrible on TV. I've wondered why they still play there and I've never even heard talk about the Jays building a new stadium.

I love Chase Field. Can't wait to go home this summer and make it to a couple of games.

Don't really have a least favorite.

The Cell is not in the ghetto. Personally I prefer going to the White Sox games more than the Cubs.

Rogers Communications owns the stadium and the team so they have free reign to do what they please. I visit family up there about once a year and the story is always that Rogers will upgrade the stadium but not tear it down. Apparently it's used for the CFL team and other large events. I doubt Rogers will shell for a new stadium but I think it would help the team immensely.

It's a great ballpark for having missed out on the "new retro" era of parks by 5 years or so. People actually WATCH THE GAME on the South Side.

That area really isn't the ghetto anymore - Chicago has improved by leaps and bounds despite Matt Drudge's recent Obama inspired hatred of it.
