I know he is in the HOF but I can't think of but a handfull of LB's that were as good or better than him. Help me out here. I'm too buzzed to think. This Fudgesicle/White Russian daiquiri with extra shot has my brain frozen.

I'd say yes. Somewhere behind LT, Butkus, and Lambert. Probably behind DT too.

No question. 2nd most pro bowls behind R. Lewis. He was a beast for a long time in the league. One of my favorites ever.

The Egg - Your mom must be proud because all of the class you have. Bad enough that it wasn't even funny.

I think the better question is, "Was he in the top 5 best LB of all time?" No question he's in the top 10. RIP Seau

I say he's easily in the conversation. His high level of play + his longevity. The importance to his teams etc. I think for at least 8 or so of his 20 years he had to be top 3 in the league, if not the best in those particular years.

One of the ten best but the Bucs Derrick Brooks was better IMO.

I can't be objective because he was one of those few guys who awed me with his athleticism on the field - when you see that amidst a bunch of world class athletes you are looking at a special kind of freak

too bad for his legend that he played on San Diego really - if he had played for the Bears or Giants he would have gotten 100x the respect

Probably. You really didn't hear his name a lot in recent years (until now of course)....so people forget to throw him out there when we talk best LB's. Most people just regurgitate Ray Lewis and LT(nothing wrong with that either) but he definitely gets lost in the mix as far as best LB's to play in the last few decades.
