Expected to be called up today. Anybody going with him immediately?

He is batting 6-17 with 2HR and & 7 RBI in his 4 rehab games in AAA.

Plugging him straight in. He's gonna mash.

Hoping for this, picked him up cheap in a keeper league during the draft. Hopefully he stays healthy and kills it like he did last season pre-injury.

I have had a bad injury bug in my outfield this season so far, relying on him and Bryce Harper to hold me over for a bit.

Craig is a great hitter, no two ways about it.

He doesn't have a position, which is why the Cardinals have struggled to find him a spot.

Sounds like he'll be switching from 1B to OF for now. I fully expect his bat to keep him in the lineup (OF), once Puma comes back.

With Sean Rodriguez, Darwin Barney, and Ryan Roberts as my options, I've gotten desperate at the 2B position

Yeah, my only question is where will they play him. Outfield is super crowded. My guess is that he will play first until Berkman comes back, but then what?

As long as he in eligible in the OF and is an everyday player, I am happy.

I am pretty solid at 1B and 2B but we play 4 OF spots in our league and with Chris Young and Brett Gardner on the DL, I can use all the help I can get.

That's probably where he will end up. I can't see him playing much outfield with Jay, Holliday, and Beltran already there. He may play give those guys a day off when needed.

They were shy about putting him there last year, so we'll see.

But that could be a LaRussa decision that Matheny doesn't care as much about.

It's the only weak spot in the lineup when everyone is healthy.
