I understand LSU wanting to be called the same thing universally. It makes it simpler to recognize that we are the ones being talked about. How is someone from across the country supposed to know that LSU is the only Louisana State? Could be a Louisiana State College.

What does bother me is when someone says "SEC Conference".....which in reality means "Southeastern Conference Conference". And yes, I've heard Les Miles say it!
