The funny thing is that those people have been killing hundreds of whales every year for hundreds of years... they obviously aren't hurting the whale population.

The only thing they would manage to do is disrupt a group of humans way of life but they are all so stupid they'd be better off donating their operating costs to a good cause that could actually make a difference. they will never make a difference.

If I had the money, I'd spent it to disrupt their efforts to disrupt whalers

Well, the good news is that those morons will eventually screw up and catch a shite ton of jail time.

If they had balls they would take on the Russians. The Russians don't play with idiots.

Did anyone watch the episode about their bluefin tuna campaign?

I hope that boat that sued them comes away with something.

They presumed that their catch was illegal and just decided to destroy their ocean-farm net and let 1 mill worth of bluefin free.

Never seen a single episode of that stupidity, but if they destroyed private property, on film, they're forked.

I remember seeing one episode where the Japanese actually hooked a whale with that crazy spear cannon thing and dragged it in... it was awesome. Do they show them catching whales regularly?

The skinny glasses guy with the pubey black beard looks like two of my friends from HS made a baby so that's weird.

I don't want them to die. Then I couldn't laugh at them on TV. It's hilarious to me that they still don't understand that anything less than physical force isn't going to slow those whalers down. Put down the peace pipe, pick up some soap and a gun and act like men. Silly, whale loving men.

I watched one episode were they shot the side of one of the huge whaler ships with red paintballs and were like "omg thats so cool it looks like blood" I couldn't watch it anymore

Maybe it would be cool if they werent pussies and actually did something but the only thing they have accomplished is wasting money and looking like prissy bitches

Why arent they treated like pirates? If I was out on my boat in international waters and someone was trying to sink me, couldn't I defend my ship with lethal force?

Seems to me it's only a matter of time before they catch some rounds

Yeah, if me and my buddies where fishing (for a living) in International waters, and a bunch of hippies tried to throw rotten eggs at us, I do believe my old Marlin 336 might have to make an appearance above deck.

No doubt. My father taught me at an early age that to mess with any man's traps (crab, trotline, boar, etc..)that isn't friend or family is a good way to get shot at in Louisiana.

I could be wrong, but I thought there was an international agreement of somekind limiting whaling in international waters.

The fishermen keep doing it and no government is going to do anything. The us just keeps saying its wrong.

So these guys are trying to do something about it.

They claim they're backed by some UN resolution. But boats making millions dgaf about the hippies and the UN... The UN doesn't police their own laws, why are these hippies so concerned?
