Truth. People were hoping for mere mediocrity, it was the best we could hope for. Been a rough few years at the QB position

I agree.
quote:Only way any of this comes out is if the program is in the dirt. Let's hope ESPN doesn't show to much interest.
Lee has a great book about his career and/or ESPN has an interesting story about the season and/or championship games at least.
fly your helicopter all you want. your probably one of those fans who believed miles when he said they were gonna put jl in at halftime in the seccg but but mathieu made a play Did you also think jl would play 1/9 if jj struggled? stupid you, i knew better.
i know this will sound like b.s. but I'll post it anyway; believe it if you want. before the season started, I ran w/ a group of people who ran w/ k. miles. she talked some about jj and his family in a way that made it obvious they had a personal/friendship w/ the jefferson family. She never mentioned any other player or players family. The second half of the season felt like watching a little league coach playing his shitty son at shortstop while the best infielder sat the bench. I know, I know, , I've got emoticons too.

If JLee progresses at the pro level, I look forward to many more years of Miles/JLee/JJ threds on the Rant.
No. shite.
Hell, there has been a "Flynn > russel" thread floating around.
Congrats to lee.
I'm not going to dive into your friend of friend that i ran with bullshite post. That's all hear say and not creditable.
JJ had a skill set on Nov.5th that Alabama wasn't ready for and in the end it helped us win. I will never understand why you would want to look for underlining reasons to Lee's poor play in the Nov 5th game.

LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee is now a San Diego Charger! Congrats @Jarrett_Lee!
I can see it now. JL has led the Chargers to a 5-0 start, and are playing the hapless Raiders at home. It's a beautiful S. California day.
JL takes the opening drive, and through a beautiful combination of power runs, and nice catches on screens by Hester, set up masterfully by Lee, the Chargers are poised to score. It's an all LSU day.
The Home Team has 1st and goal on the 3" line. The Chargers call time out, JL's thinking,"we're going to try that little trick play we worked on in pre-seson". JL is called to the sideline. And out runs a new QB, and could it be, yes it could, in fact it is.........

But playing "woulda, shoulda, coulda" about Jan 9th is a bit pathetic at this point
Continuing to try and defend JJ is even more pathetic though. Just saying.

I'm happy Lee signed a UDFA deal and hope he's able to stay on with a team [we need more LSU QB's in the league]. On that note, I wish Jefferson could have signed with someone too. But, that is unlikely at this point.
