8 sacks of very nice crawfish. Great day for a boil.

Sounds excellent.
I am going to grill this evening. 1 prime ribeye, 1 piece of salmon for mrs4lsu2, red onion/squash/zucchini for pit, and 2 twice baked potatoes for the oven.

OK, ten minutes ago I went out to the grill and poured some coals for sausage to grill and serve with pasta. Loe and Behold, I found a 7 inch piece of sausage from the last grilling two weeks ago. It was burnt. Totally charred.
I was gonna throw it away but smelled it and it seemed OK. Totally preserved. Only one thing to do. Give it to the children and let them test it. Both kids gobbled it down and said "Dad, this is really excellent stuff."

A grilled burger is not complete without a purple onion, IMO.

Grilled chicken, burgers, sausage, and some stuffed shrooms. An afternoon idrinking beer in the pool has got me famished.

I have become quite accustomed to boiled sausage over the past few months. Put them in with shrimp/ crawfish/ corn/ etc and it is much better than grilled sausage to me. I know I will never convince you of this, but I thought I'd pass it along.

I boiled some sausage at our last boil. I think I was the only one that ate any, but I'm ok with that.
I was also the only boiled shroom eater there, and I was definitely ok with that.
