Your comment in the other thread about the MLS thread having less than 9 posters was spot-on, though.

Arnaud misses one from point-blank range that could have made it 1-0 Impact.

It would be nice if NBCSN would get TV rights for a doubleheader broadcast every now and then. It's easier to make a day or event out of watching the games (like with the NFL) if there's more to watch.

Yeah, stuff like this will probably happen with continued growth.

Huge save by Ricketts on a Jewsbury shot.

ETA: Big chance for Corradi goes just wide late in the first half.

ETA2: Timbers actually creating chances in the 2nd half.

ETA3: Nyassi with a boot to Perkins' face ... OUCH!!

Hand ball on Steven Smith! PK coming for the Impact!

Awful call against the Timbers...

Looking at replay, maybe a good call ... it was a tough one...

Impact lead 1-0!!

Pass from Arnoud gets by Bendik and Ubiparipovic smashes it home to make it 2-0 Impact!

Henry lobs one over everyone and in the back of the net ... 1-0 Red Bulls.

ETA: Henry grabbing his hamstring ... he was not touch and went to the ground. He's done for the day.

Heh, looks like I chose the wrong thread, so I'll re-post here. Gotta get to 20+ posts somehow.

Portland was horrible today in Montreal. Played not to lose, which of course led to a 2-0 loss. Losing your starting GK to a boot to the nose doesn't help, either.

Sounds like Henry had another dandy...

Yeah, he pulled up while running and grabbed his right hamstring and went down. They said it was a sprained right hamstring.

Wow, Sene put on a bunch of moves against the Red Bulls back line and put one just off the post.

ETA: Lindpere got away with a hand ball in the box there.

Saer Senne seems like an impressive talent from the brief time I've seen him play.

Wow, Feilhaber had a chance to tie it there and couldn't get a point-blank header by the keeper.
