Came by my school yesterday to recruit our running back. He's with Arizona State now. I never realized how soft spoken he was, we chatted for about twenty minutes about LSU and Memphis. An extremely stand up guy, I can see why he's a great recruiter.

The kid is an offensive player, I coach defense rarely acknowledge him. None of our conversation was even about our player.
He did say he convinced the new HC at ASU to let him recruit the South because the players are tougher. He said they would offer 20 and hope to get maybe 2.

If ASU can consistently win they could easily pull some good players from anywhere. Great campus, party central,great weather and those women. Porter just needs to be able to get the kids on campus to allow them to see the beautiful scenery in Tempe.

He brought up that the girls on campus tan at the pools in January. Something he hasn't seen at any other campus.
