Ask the OD Board for some. Somebody is bound to hook you up. I don't hunt but my buddy has a freezer full of that shite.

Vine Brothers in Centreville, MS. They sell a commercial deer sausage. It's excellent. Might be someplace closer to BR, but Vines is my favorite.

That's what I thought. Maybe they get their deer meat from pen raised deer?

according to USDA regulations, you can sell meat from what is traditionally considered "wild game" if it has been 1) farm raised, and 2) slaughtered and dressed under inspection.

plenty of stores and restaurants sell venison meat and sausage, it is just made with farm raised deer. you just can't go out and kill a deer in the woods and legally sell the meat.

Wayne Jacobs in LaPlace sells it. Definately a lot cheaper than the cost of hunting and butchering.
