Sunday looks really strong.
What sucks is that I miss basically all of Friday due to an intersession class I have that lasts till 5. There's only a couple bands from then that I want to see though.

I gotta figure out what I am going to do about my job. I've interviewed for this job and I am pretty sure they are about to hire me. Should I just be upfront with them and say, I had this vacation planned and paid for 6 months ago and will need to be off work that friday and monday? OR should tell them I just need off Monday? Maybe they won't hire me until after Hangout Fest...

try to feel them out. maybe say that ideally you'd like off friday and monday, but if you can only do monday that would work too. at my current job, i had a family vacation planned the first week of work, and i explained to them what was going on, and they were cool with it. hopefully it works well for you too so you can go the whole weekend

all the electro shows are during the day, not having the midnight shows this year is really turning out to be a bummer...i hope the xbox stage is under a tent
also might have to miss string cheese because i really want to be in the first couple rows for RHCP

I have watched a few Schpongle videos on youtube and it would seem like their act would absolutely have to be at night or in a tent.

I noticed that too. After watching their videos, their not a 1:15 pm kind of band. Probably more like 1:15 am. Also, the Flaming Lips doing Dark Side should probably be later than 6:30.

well, if they put them in the tent, put the side walls up and pump the AC into there, it would be fine.
