Chavis is worth it. Hope he stays healthy and happy in Baton Rouge forever.

The inflation in this profession is absolutely insane. There is no way that someone who coaches football should make this much money, much less an assistant. Wow. It kind of makes me sick thinking that our dollars are really devalued when you put such things in perspective.
it is a lot of money but you have to put into perspective how much money lsu makes off of the football team.

Lsu would have lost to Bama 28-6 in game one and 42-0 in the NCG without Chavis.

Money well spent

It wasn't meant literally, but Les wouldn't be worth what he is getting paid without Chavis

We have the The most deserving (of a HC position) of any coordinator in the league. It's only right to pay him Accordingly.

the new DB U, now imagine if we can get some of our LBer's to turn into studs we will be the new DB, LB, and DL U or in other words the PURPLE SWARM.

Linebacker is actually the chief's specialty. Expect line backing to become relevant over the next couple years. We signed a bunch of LBs for a good reason.
