He's definitely earned the coin. Our D was monster last year and going to be dominant again this year. I hope Chief is here until he retires!

He deserves it.
Chavis getting old though, hopefully he doesn't get lazy like a certain somebody that is a buddy to him.

My brother lives and works Knoxville and met a dude who is a friend of the Chavis family. He told him how much Chavis really loved and respected Miles for hiring him immediately after the Tennessee mess.
Apparently Chavis was out on the road recruiting when he got a call that he was fired. Pretty shitty, but I am glad we got him. I am very confident he will retire here.

I haven't heard the 3rd and Chavis comment since he arrived. I could not be happier for the man. The Players love him.

Well if he can't recruit then that just goes to show you how GREAT of a DC he is because apparently he takes "non-recruited" players & turns them into studs. 1.1 mill may not be enough.

Most valuable coach we have. He is the best DC in the country that isn't a head coach. There is no argument.
