Asante Samuel For a Fifth or Sixth Rounder - Should we?

With it being reported that the Eagles would do the deal for Samuels for a fifth or sixth rounder (Reported on ESPN a few minutes ago), would it be something the Saints would/should look at?

Nope.
Big contract, very boom or bust player, needs a decent pass rush to really be good.

we need to have a basic capology 101 discussion around here
A woman is shopping at a grocery store. She picks up a half gallon of skim milk, 2 loaves of wheat bread, one dozen organic eggs, and some carrots. She goes to the checkout line.
"You must be single." the clerk says.
Amazed at the flattering insight of the clerk, the woman says, "Yes I am. How could you tell?".

We can't take on any burdensome contract until Drew is locked up long term, even then we still have other players on roster we need to think long term on.

Theres pretty much three important points to remember:

Thump - Thump - squish - Thump- Thump The father, very confused, slams the door open and sees his son balls deep, pounding the shite out of his grandmothers a-hole. Just really going to town on it.
The father screams "What the hell are you doing?" The boy replies, "It's not so funny when its your mom, is it?"
