Was it wrong at the time to kinda feel that way though?

I don't think so. It really is pretty amazing that they were able to peel off three wins in a row after losing three in a row to end the season...

God it was glorious.

Am I the only one who still can't watch these without getting nervous?

People forget how banged up we were that year. I think we had at least 15 people on IR didn't we?

I still love the hit on Warner. Dude was always a pansy, nice to see him come up chewing astroturf.

My favorite CB in recent Saints history. That was awesome to see him in a Saints uni again. And he picked Brady in that game.

Chris McAllister was there to if memory serves me.

His pick was awesome, I can still see it.

Everybody I talked to said they were so happy for him.

Edit: And even though we released him for the playoffs, we gave him a ring.

The NFC championship had me more nervous than the Superbowl. I remember not being able to sleep the night before.

And not one "cart-off."
One "help-off" - Warner in Cardinals playoff game, but it was a legal block into the chest/shoulder.
Favre getting hit in NFCCG was a result of the Vaginakings swiss-cheese O-line....

Thanks for posting this! It was a very special year. I remember trying my hardest to fully rap my mind around what was actually happening and now looking back it was more special than I thought it would be. Great year and great team!

Only thing that makes me sad after watching this is how much Sean means to this team and the fact that they don't get him on the sideline this year.

Oh well, we are going to take the SHIP this year!
