Blackout question for Rangers fans
Posted by TK421 on 4/18/12 at 2:13 pm00
I was looking at espn3.com today and it said the game tonight is black out in my area.
To my knowledge, Texas away games were not typically blacked out in South Louisiana. Anybody have any idea what's going on with that?

It doesn't matter if they are home or away Ranger games are always blacked out in LA.

Seems like I watched a game on ESPN last week.
And aren't blackout rules in place in lieu of sold out games? All games at Fenway are sold out.

Not sure then. And you might be right about the blackout rules. I was thinking it was mlb.tv rules and not espn rules.

u can probably just use hotspotshield to get a different ip then crank up espn3.com and use whatever ur provider's email address and password is to your main account when it ask you to select a provider.
hotspot shield works very well for mlb.tv.. and it's free.. or easy hide ip (not free but 3 day free trial) for the saturday games that are blacked out across the entire country.. you can just get a foreign ip with the easy hide ip program.

How in the world does it make sense that a team that's at least 8 hours away from the New Orleans area have it's games blacked out?
They black them out on MLB Extra Innings too.
