Anders Osborne w, Bill Kreutzmann, Billy Iuso, Paul Barrere, Fred Tackett at the Republic.
First Saturday
The Royal Southern Brotherhood at the 12 Bar
Second Friday
Hot 8 brass, followed by galactic, followed by Black Star (Mos Def and Talibh Kweli) at the Sugar Mill
Second Saturday
The Meters show with rebirth and papa grows at Howlin Wolf

Really hoping they don't oversell that venue that night. Nothing is worse than going to show where they've sold to many tix (looking at you Tips/HWolf). It's a good sign it's not sold out yet I guess.

i tend to stay away from the aftershows due to the price of tickets..you can head to new orleans anytime other than jazz fest and see the same acts for half the price..

Interesting. To me going to fest is much more expensive than night shows.
$65/day x 2 + food which is pretty cheap for the quality and then $5 beers? $200/day for 2 of us at fest at least.
