Ok fellas update.

Yesterday we came in with less than a min to spare and were told the # to win was 14 so we turned in 15. The entire store celebrates with my team and pictures are taken for the daily winner along with our name being posted in the store. 1 hour later we see the scoreboard and we supposedly lost by one pig to another team in Center Texas. Center claimes they told our store at 1155 that the # to win was 17. We would not have turned in our pigs and would have stockpiled them for a chance to win a differnet daily prize with that information.

Due to the mis information I suggested they give us credit for our 15 pigs and allow us to use them on a future day of our choosing because we would not have turned them in if we were not lied to. Unfortuantely they only came half way and said that we could apply our pigs to today only.

So we had to win today as we already had 15 pigs in. We ran the traps yesterday after noon and got 5 more pigs then this am we got another 8 so we turned in 28 today confident that would win the daily.

Sadly with a min left on the clock a guy pulled in with 29 pigs and beat us. He had a pretty bad day though because his portable hog trap/trailer came off the hitch and rolled 3 time in a ditch on his way in and he still managed to bring them in. I even loaned him my sledge hammer at the store so he could get his hogs off the trailer.

we are now in 3rd but it is a narrow margin.

Sadly I did not get pics of the 8 from this am because it took several hours to get around to it and the wife said they stunk so bad they made her puke and she forgot to get the pics. I guess shooting one in the gut and leaving it in the sun for 3-4 hours wasn't a good idea, who knew??!!

We have two more days of the contest and at this point we are all pretty tired. The chance of winning a daily is basically zero now but we are still hunting them.

Congrats on the other kills. It sucks that the tourney is rigged the way it is, but at least y'all got to kill some pigs and probably had some fun doing it.

Every chick is different. My wife had no sickness and no problems (until the delivery of course). But some of her friends were sick the entire 9 months. I think they say usually in the second trimester the morning sickness is supposed to go away.

I did, I called everyone and the best I could get them to do was move my pigs to thursday. The sad thing is I think I could have won today if I still had those 15 plus the 13 we got yesterday in my freezer to turn in today.


Oh well.

The sad thing is I have about 2k in this tourney with traps, bait, diesel, entry fees, ect.








Morning sickness and hyperemisis gravidum are actually different things. The firs usually is only in the morning and usually goes away early in the second trimester the second is more severe and lasts the entire pregnancy usually. There are ususally some specific triggers for the second and those patients have a hard time gaining weight. Interestingly patients with both of these problems tend to have healthier babies for some unexplined reason.

100 mg of B6 daily has been shown to help as have some of the OTC pregnancy meds with ginger in them. Check any med with her doc prior to letting her have it though.

we had the possiblity of winning 10k plus when it started.

Currently we still have the ability to win about 3k but it is a long shot.
