Anyone else think Snikeris gets the start at first against a LHP tonight?

It is tough to put him in the lineup at DH in case there is an injury to Ross. But with the combination of the way he has been swinging the bat, the lefty on the mound, and Rhymes' concussion....I think we will see a lineup of

Jones 2B
Fields CF
Katz RF
Rhymes DH
Nola SS
Ross C
Snikeris 1B
Hanover 3B
Foster LF

ETA: Unless I'm just losing my mind, but didn't he see some time at first recently?

Aslong as Fields is in the lineup I am good, hes slowly starting to become the x-factor in this lineup.

this isnt the time to try anything new, granted that bama is 4-9 in the sec, because LSU needs to sweep this series for the case of making sure that they dont mess up their conference record with a new lineup. i say try it during a mid-week game to see how it works but knowing mainieri though, he is going to do the exact opposite of what i say.

I don't think Slaid is a possibility unless Rhymes is ready to go back to left, allowing Slaid to replace Foster and be the DH.

Definitely not if it would be an adventure out there, but if he is serviceable at first then it isn't far fetched. He has been pinch hitting a good bit lately against left handers. We know Dozar is worthless against left handers and it would take some pressure off the freshman Moore.

Lineup is posted

Jones
Hanover
Katz
Rhymes
Nola
Ross
Moore
Fields
Foster

Mainieri showing confidence in Moore leaving him in. He has upside, glad they are going to stick with him. He could be a key through the end of this season and into next year.
