do you think with benson buying the hornets, what chance do you think they will move 1 game a year to the dome? lakers or heat regular season game. or if the hornets make it to the finals, one of those games?

im pretty sure there's a lot of loopholes to jump through to make that work. probably not worth the trouble

It's not going to happen. Stern values above all quality of product and moving NBA players into a dome adversely affects shooting, etc.

I remember hearing after the Spurs moved out of the Alamodome in the 90's that never again would a meaningful NBA game be played in a dome or large stadium.

I sure the hell hope not. I was in the Dome for KU/UK in 319 (corner lodge), and it was such a shitty view. The 300 section in the Arena is way better than the 300 level in the Dome, not to mention 400s, 500s, 600s.

WWLTV did speculate about this possibility during their coverage yesterday... It would be interesting to explore, but I doubt it would work for anything besides an All-Star game or an NBA Finals series
